How does the auction work?
Vehicles are driven into the bidding arena and put on display in front of the auctioneer’s podium (commonly referred to as ‘the block’).
The auctioneer will start asking for bids based on what he feels the vehicle is worth.
Once a bidder gives a signal to accept the bid (typically by a hand raise), the auctioneer will ask if anyone wants to go higher. Anyone wishing to do so will also signal the auctioneer to increase the bid.
When the auctioneer declares that the vehicle is ‘SOLD’, the bidder with the highest bid must provide the auction with full payment.
Please note that all sales are final, and a bidder cannot withdraw a bid during the live sale. Therefore, it is important to preview vehicles and do any research prior to the sale.
